Did Kourtney Kardashian’s Boyfriend Just Publicly Slut Shame Her?

Kourtney Kardashian, being super hot and famous, took to Instagram on Monday to bare her famous assets in a floral high-cut thong bikini from Dolce & Gabbana (shop a similar look here).

Casually kneeling on a grassy knoll in full swimwear (giant straw Sensi Studio hat included), the 39-year-old turns to the camera mid-laugh. “Don’t be shady, be a lady,” her caption reads.

Well, at least one person failed to take the caption’s advice to heart: Kourtney’s boyfriend, Younes Bendjima.

In a since-deleted comment, Bendjima threw shade for days, writing, “thats [sic] what you need to show to get likes?”

Umm, excuse me, Younes? Why you gotta be so rude to the hardworking mother of three?

And OK, aside from the obvious slut-shaming of his comment, can we discuss the hypocrisy? Not only does Bendjima, 25, have more than a few shirtless ‘grams of his own (which Kardashian fans have mercilessly trolled), but it’s hard not to notice an interesting trend in regard to the number of likes on his own photos … To spell it out, yeah, he also shows a bit more skin “to get likes.”

Rumors of Kourtney and Younes’s budding romance began to circulate last May. Ahead of the influx of Kardashian-Bendjima press, Younes’s Instagrams did well (in some cases netting more than 50,000 likes), but after Bedjima was branded as Kourtney’s boyfriend, it became a whole new game. His Insta popularity rose significantly, and his first photo with Kourtney grabbed a whopping 261,000 likes. His most recent ‘gram, of him and Kourt in Italy, got his highest like-count yet at 356,000.

Younes, are photos of Kourtney Kardashian what you need to show to get likes?

According to an anonymous source cited by People, Bendjima has never been comfortable with Kourtney’s skin-baring Instagram posts.

“He never liked that she posted sexy pictures of herself on social media,” the source revealed. “He doesn’t want his girlfriend to do that. He gets that it’s her job, but wants her to post more covered up picture.”

According to said source, this is hardly a new issue. “

Since he deleted the comment and there’s no official split (yet), perhaps Bendjima had a change of heart?

Update 7/19: Unsurprisingly, Kardashian does not seem thrilled about Bendjima’s comment.

According to an E! News source, Kardashian wishes he hadn’t posted it at all. “Kourtney doesn’t appreciate Younes posting his feelings in a public forum and being impulsive,” the source said. “She’s frustrated that he continues to get upset about it. She isn’t going to stop doing what she’s doing and feels like he needs to understand and deal with it.”

Hailey Baldwin Already Picked Her Bridesmaids for Her Wedding to Justin Bieber

In a recent interview with Baldwin’s aunt, Kim Basinger, the 64-year-old actress reportedly revealed that her and ex-husband Alec Baldwin’s daughter Ireland (Hailey’s cousin) and Alaia Baldwin (Hailey’s big sister) are “in the wedding.”

“Oh, it’ll be fun,” Basinger said of the Bieber-Baldwin nuptials. “Alaia and Ireland, they’re in the wedding. I think it’s sweet. It’s a very sweet thing. Happiness … We’re living in some really dire times right now.”

Alaia, 25, wed writer/producer husband Andrew Aronow last September—Hailey served as maid of honor, while Ireland, 22, was a dutiful bridesmaid at her cousin’s upstate New York bash.

Both Alaia and Ireland congratulated the bride-to-be with sweet throwback posts after news of her and Bieber’s engagement broke:

No word on who else will fill Baldwin’s wedding party, or any of the members of Bieber’s, but regardless: WE. CANNOT. WAIT.

The Royal Family Is Making LGBTQ History This Summer

Mountbatten publicly came out in September of 2016, telling the Daily Mail that it wasn’t his royal lineage that kept him in the closet, but rather the era to which he was born.

“Being a Mountbatten was never the problem, it was the generation into which I was born,” he explained. “When I was growing up, it was known as ‘the love that dare not speak its name.’” (In the early 1950s, men in Great Britain were regularly arrested for violating the laws against homosexual activity, including a number of high-profile people such as famed scientist Alan Turing. “Homosexual offenses” were decriminalized in 1967.)

The Queen has previously expressed her support for the LGBTQ community, though her statements haven’t gone in depth with regard to policy.

Congratulations to Ivar and his groom-to-be! This is clearly an important and long overdue milestone for the royal family.

3 Things Meghan Markle Can’t Do for Her Birthday Anymore

Happy Birthday, Meghan Markle! The Duchess of Sussex is ringing in 37 today, but even so, the birthday girl does not have free reign over how she celebrates. As any fan of the family knows, being a royal comes with an impossibly long list of rules that must be followed—even on your birthday.

In past years, Markle has celebrated her birthday on her own terms. She said on her now-defunct blog The Tig that she wishes every year for new surprises in her life. “More surprises, more adventure, more opportunities to grow, more days filled with giggles and cheeky jokes, more delicious meals, and more inspiration,” she wrote, according to Elle. “Always more inspiration.”

Hopefully this means she won’t mind that she can do none of the following to kick off her 37th year. Oh well. At least she’s literal royalty.

Michael Tullberg

1. She can’t have a big birthday party.

It’s her party and she can cry if she wants to — oh wait. She can’t. Because there is no party.

Markle likely won’t be allowed to throw a lavish party for the same reason she can’t have a baby shower — she’s very wealthy, so throwing a bash and receiving gifts would be seen as inappropriate. Go figure.

2. She can’t get presents.

The Sun alleges that she can’t get gifts for the same reason she can’t have a big party. What a bummer.

3. She can’t post a birthday selfie.

Goodbye, Markle’s Instagram selfies of the past! Hello, strict royal rules about social media.

As much as her birthday this year might look different than years past, at least she’s got Prince Harry by her side.

Serena Williams Reveals Her and Meghan Markle’s Bond Is Stronger Than Ever

Asked whether the pals regularly give each other advice, the tennis star, 36, replied, “We were actually just texting each other this morning.”

“We have known each other for a long time, but we really are relying on each other a lot recently,” she continued.

Williams also discussed how special it was to witness her friend’s wedding to Prince Harry, 34, in May.

“I felt like we were literally watching history,” the athlete remarked. “I feel like in a few years, when I look back at that moment, it’s just gonna be so historic. It’s gonna be something people never forget.”

However, the most important part of the ceremony was just being able to see Meghan’s face light up on her special day.

“The whole service was really wonderful and most of all, I just wanted to see my friend be happy and I think that’s what happened,” she added.

During the interview, Williams went on to discuss the violation she was given from chair umpire Carlos Ramos for illegal coaching from coach Patrick Mouratoglou during the U.S. Open Women’s final. Mouratoglou said later, “I’m honest, I was coaching. I don’t think she looked at me so that’s why she didn’t even think I was.”

“I just don’t understand what he was talking about,” Williams told The Project. “[Mouratoglou] said he made a motion, so I was like, ‘Okay, you made a motion, now you told people you were coaching me? That doesn’t make sense, why would you say that?’ ”

“I was on the other side, I didn’t see the motion, so it was just a really confusing moment,” she added.

Williams lost the match to Naomi Osaka, 20, after a total of three violations — including one for smashing her racket and another for verbally abusing the umpire — adding up to a fine of $17,000, which was deducted from her $1.85 million prize money. She later said she felt the entire incident was “sexist.”

“I just don’t understand,” Williams remarked while addressing male punishments for similar actions. “If you’re female you should be able to do even half of what a guy can do, and I feel like right now we are not, as it’s proven, in the same position.”

However, she went on to add that she’s currently focused on being able to move forward with her life and career.

“I’m just trying most of all to recover from that and just move on,” she explained.

“Unfortunately and fortunately we have to play each other,” Serena continued. “We make each other better. We bring out the best when we play each other. It’s what we do. So, I think we’re used to it now.”

Serena and Venus have been sharing their love of the game for a long time.

In a 1991 interview with Today, the athletes’ mother Oracene Price said of her then-rising star daughters, “Sometimes I feel just like it was destiny, you know, for the both of them. Because my first three girls, they went out, they didn’t take to it. But the last two, they liked it a great deal.”

Venus, just 11, explained, “I think when I was 5 years old, that’s when I think I started liking it a lot.”

We Finally Know When Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson Are Getting Married

Getting married just mere months after announcing an engagement? Don’t talk crazy!

Ariana Grande laid the rumors that she and Pete Davidson are already married — or had plans to marry within the immediate future — to rest on Wednesday morning while promoting her latest album, Sweetener, on Good Morning America.

The human ponytail clarified that she and her betrothed funny man were pumping the breaks a bit after what some might call “rushing” into wedding talk. Their engagement, if you’ll recall, was revealed just weeks after we learned that the couple was even aware of each other’s existence on planet earth — let alone were dating.

So when is the wedding, exactly? Speaking to Michael Strahan, Grande said her impending nuptials are “not soon soon. It’s going to be like, next year.”

“We’re going to take our time to plan it,” she continued. “We’ve been like planning and my friends and I, my mom and everybody have been like, brainstorming and sharing ideas and stuff, and it’s really fun. I work so much. I’ve never spent this much time or energy planning something personal that feeds my soul so much and my heart. I’m going to cry. I’m so excited. It’s sick. It’s really fun.”

Fans had previously speculated that the couple would get hitched on August 4, 2018 because the date corresponds to the badge number (8418) of Davidson’s late dad, a firefighter who lost his life on duty during 9/11. Davidson also gifted Grande a pendant worn by his father bearing the numbers, and the singer got a tattoo of the digits as well.

And when they stepped out together at the VMAs on Monday — their red carpet couple debut — Davidson’s beaded bracelet with the initials “AGD” had fans speculating that the couple had tied the knot in secret, and that Grande was making good on her plan to merge her fiancé’s last name with her own.

As for their Instagram PDA and headline-making antics, Grande is well-aware of how she must come across. “We’re so annoying, huh?” she told Strahan. “It must be the worst [to watch]. It must be the worst!”

Kylie Jenner Just Joined Kendall and Kanye West in This Family Business

Once upon a time — some might call it the (relative) calm before the Stormi — Kylie Jenner sparked some drama with her brother-in-law, Kanye West.

It all began when rumors began to churn that the then-18-year-old Jenner was picking up her first major athletic label endorsement as the new face of Puma. Not surprisingly, West — a down-and-out Adidas guy, considering his Yeezy partnership with the German sportswear maker — did not react well to the news.

“There will never be a Kylie Puma anything … 1000% Kylie is on Yeezy team!!!” he tweeted back in 2016. “Puma we gone give you your measly million dollars back!!! Never try to divide the family!!!

Joke was on him, however, because Jenner did end up signing a deal with Puma, which was rumored to be worth seven figures. It has now been 2 years and one baby later, and it looks like Jenner is coming around. The 20-year-old new mama and makeup mogul has switched teams, announcing Tuesday via Instagram Stories that she’s playing for Adidas.

On Saturday, Jenner shared a photo of herself wearing Adidas sneakers from the Alexander Wang collaboration. The company confirmed to Fashionista that she will be starring in the campaign for the Adidas Falcon.

But don’t feel too bad for Puma — they’ve still got a few big name brand ambassadors, including Rihanna, who designs her Fenty collection with the brand, Selena Gomez (heard of her?) and, awkwardly enough, Gomez’s ex, The Weeknd. (Meanwhile, The Weeknd’s on-again girlfriend, Bella Hadid, is the face of Nike, while Hadid’s older sister Gigi is the face of Reebok. Keep up!)

Back to Jenner. The reality star’s new endorsement truly brings it home for the family, as big sis Kendall Jenner also serves as one of the (many, many) faces of Adidas Originals; she’s in good company with fellow Adidas junkies Karlie Kloss and collaborator Pharrell.

You know what they say, the family that scores multi-million dollar endorsement deals together, stays together.

The Best Part of Ariana Grande’s 2018 MTV VMAs Performance? Her Grandma

How’s the rest of the Grande family supposed to top this one?

At the 2018 MTV VMAs, Ariana Grande (soon to be Ariana Grande-Davidson, by the way) performed a rendition of “God Is a Woman” that truly gave us chills. Her stage design was fly enough for a queen like Beyoncé, and she wore a gilded dress that shimmered, and made biblical references that felt so modern yet so … biblical. For the performance, the 25-year-old pop star and her dancers recreated a scene reminiscent of Leonardo da Vinci’s “The Last Supper,” neutral tones and sarong-type-things included.

But the reason people on Twitter are freaking out? Her guest appearances. Near the end of the song, Grande welcomed her grandma, mom Joan Grande, and cousin on stage, honoring the most important women in her life and reminding the world that indeed, ladies run the world. Wrong pop star, but the reference still applies. In the audience, Grande’s brother Frankie watched and so did her new fiancé Pete Davidson.

Grande scored five nominations at the 2018 VMAs, including Artist of the Year and Video of the Year, and she already won Best Pop Video for “No Tears Left to Cry.” A winning night, no?

Tracee Ellis Ross Looks Like IRL Cotton Candy on the 2018 Emmys Red Carpet

What do you wear to an award show when you’re as fabulously fashion-forward as Tracee Ellis Ross? Whatever happens to float your boat that day, that’s what.

Ross is one of the few celebrities who could get away with pretty much anything on the red carpet, but for the 2018 Emmys, she chose to go bolder than ever with a little help from Valentino and Tamara Mellon.

The actress — who is up for the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series tonight — dazzled in a showstopping pink cloud of a Valentino couture dress and Tamara Mellon shoes, keeping her makeup just as bubblegum-colored, and her hair slicked back.

Ross is no stranger to going bold when the situation calls for it (which tonight obviously does). She’s a star we can count on to play with her fashion, but also recognize the industry for what it is.

“Fashion can be judgmental. It can be elitist. It can be exclusionary. But the opportunity is for it to be used as a tool to connect, to include, to empower, and to bring joy,” she told InStyle earlier this year.

“The business of fashion has the power to shift culture the same way that the practice of style has the ability to empower an individual. So I hope that we all can go out there and know that we’re not just making accessories, we’re not just making clothes, but we actually can include and then change our world and shift the way we see each other and how we perceive each other.”

Wise words — and we hope to hear more from her tonight.
