WWE NXT Preview, Nov. 14, 2018: TakeOver WarGames II Go-Home Show

Before NXT TakeOver: WarGames II goes down, Kyle O’Reilly of The Undisputed ERA will face a member from the team of Pete Dunne, Ricochet & The War Raiders in a high-stakes main event for the WarGames advantage. Plus, Mia Yim takes on The EST of NXT.
WarGames Match Advantage Gets Decided:
Before the super-team of NXT North American Champion Ricochet, WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne & The War Raiders unite for warfare against The Undisputed ERA at NXT TakeOver: WarGames II, The WarGames Match advantage will be determined in a high-stakes one-on-one contest tonight. One member from the team of Ricochet, Dunne & War Raiders will be selected for battle against Undisputed ERA’s chosen representative, NXT Tag Team Champion Kyle O’Reilly. The winning Superstar’s team will gain the numerical edge when it comes to the order of entrance during this Saturday’s WarGames Match.
Given the harrowing conditions of the match, both teams will need all the momentum they can get for the hellacious storm that awaits them inside the steel structure. Which Superstar will step forward and battle O’Reilly? Will the team of Ricochet, Dunne & The War Raiders score the leg up for Saturday, or will the advantage go to the ever-opportunistic Undisputed ERA? Find out tonight on WWE NXT!
Lacey Evans in Action:
Armed with an iron Women’s Right, Lacey Evans has been busy slugging out the competition, week in and week out. Following face-crushing victories over Dakota Kai & Candice LeRae, The Lady of NXT looks to keep up her hard-hitting campaign tonight, as she prepares for in-ring competition.
The HBIC Takes On The EST Of NXT:
Mia Yim has been on a roll since making her big debut as an NXT Superstar. In her first outing on the black-and-yellow brand, Yim showed she was right at home when she clinched an impressive win over Aliyah. But her victory lap will meet a taxing toll stop tonight, as she prepares for singles action with Bianca Belair.
The two NXT Superstars shared a testy back-and-forth last week, with The EST Of NXT making her blatant disregard for the self-proclaimed HBIC (Head Baddie in Charge) no secret. Now, they do battle in a match that will see a quest for respect go up against NXT’s hottest un-de-feat-ed streak. Who will walk out with the victory? Find out tonight on WWE NXT!

ITV and Impact Wrestling announced today officially that World of Sport will return to ITV with tapings at the Preston Guild Hall on May 25th and 26th.

The announcement was of a 10-episode series. ITV greenlit the series which would be largely funded by Anthem Entertainment, which would run the wrestling end, with Jeff Jarrett in charge of the wrestling.

They announced tickets would go on sale on April 7th at Gigsandtours.com, Ticketmaster.co.uk, and prestonguildhall.co.uk.

There will be a launch announcement on March 27th at 2 p.m. in Manchester where more details will be announced, including the roster, as well as a Q&A.

We had reported on this already in the Observer a few weeks ago, noting that the show would be airing at 5 p.m. on Saturdays and start in July. ITV has only committed to the ten shows as a trial.

The release featured photos of wrestlers with Grado, Davey Boy Smith Jr., and Dave Mastiff front and center. Rockstar Spud and Magnus from TNA are also part of the roster of the show.

While no deal has been closed, Jim Ross had been earmarked as the host of the show. Officially, only Alex Shane, who co-hosted the pilot with Ross that aired on December 31st, is an announcer. Grado will enter the tapings billed as the World of Sport champion based on the first episode.
