Drew McIntyre Delivers Message To The Shield Ahead Of This Week's RAW

Ahead of their advertised showdown on Monday night’s WWE RAW, Drew McIntyre has a message for Seth Rollins.

McIntyre took to Twitter this weekend to issue a warning to The Shield — with “The Architect” being his primary target.

“This Monday night on RAW, I will finally destroy The Shield,” wrote McIntyre on Saturday. “P.S I wouldn’t get your hopes up for Seth making it to WrestleMania.”

As noted, WWE announced McIntyre vs. Rollins for Monday’s show, along with Ronda Rousey vs. Dana Brooke for the RAW Women’s Championship, Finn Balor and a mystery partner against Lio Rush and Bobby Lashley, the announcement of Kurt Angle’s opponent for his “Farewell Match” at WrestleMania 35 and an appearance by WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar.

Check out Drew McIntyre’s tweet directed at The Shield and Seth Rollins below.

Will Hobbs joins Team Taz on AEW Dynamite

Will Hobbs turned on Cody Rhodes and TNT Champion Darby Allin on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, joining Team Taz.

The main event featured Allin and Rhodes teaming against Team Taz’s Brian Cage and Ricky Starks whom they have feuded with for weeks. Cage pinned Allin with an avalanche Drill Claw.

Team Taz continued to assault Rhodes and Allin after the match had ended, leading to Hobbs running in with a steel chair. It first appeared as though he was coming to Allin and Rhodes’ aid as he has done in the past. Instead, he dropped the chair, lifted up Cage’s FTW title belt, and laid Rhodes out with it, kicking off his heel turn.

After Hobbs lost to Cage in an FTW title match on the October 7th Dynamite, Taz spent weeks courting Hobbs in a series of in-ring and backstage segments.

Hobbs, riding a two match winning streak and a winner in six of his last seven, will be in action on next week’s Dynamite against an opponent to be named.
