The Wednesday, October 8th edition of TNA Impact Wrestling drew a final cable rating of 0.85, according to Nielsen Media Research. That is down from the 0.875 final draw that the show scored last week.
Wednesday’s Impact Wrestling show averaged 1.102 million viewers for Spike TV, which was actually up from the average of 1.097 million viewers for the previous week’s show.

The 2014 edition of the WWE Slammy Awards have been moved to the December 8th edition of WWE RAW from the Bon Secours Center in Greenville.
Confirmed for the show that night is the return of WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar.
Below is the official announcement from the Bon Secours Center:
“RAW Main Event: John Cena and Dean Ambrose vs Money in the Bank Contract Winner Seth Rollins and Kane. Plus, you’ll see WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar, WWE COO Triple H…AND The Slammy Awards will take place live in Greenville!”

Wrestling fan Rabarberium sent the following to F4WOnline.com website:
“Don’t know if this counts as news, but someone managed to get hold of the Playstation 3 version of WWE 2k15, and CM Punk’s ring entrance is identical to how it is in WWE 2k14, except the CM Punk merchandise hoodie he used to wear in WWE 2k14 has now been replaced with a completely gray hoodie. They don’t usually censor merch that is no longer on sale; for instance, Cena is going to have his now old neon green merchandise in the game.”
F4W’s Bryan Alvarez speculates that this likely has something to do with the legal issues going on between Punk and WWE regarding the merchandise issue that led to all of his merchandise items being liquidated by WWE.

As noted earlier this week, there was some speculation that Cesaro was being punished via the way he is booked due to comments he made about John Cena and Randy Orton in a recent interview.
For those who missed it, below are the comments Cesaro made:
“Exactly. It is a new era of guys, it’s a new generation, and it’s a lot of fun to watch that because there are fresh match-ups. I mean I’m sick of seeing John Cena against Randy Orton for the 500th time. It’s great that we have some new, young guys that can come out and provide absolutely great match-ups and for the fans there are fresh, exciting matches and things to watch.”
According to one WWE source, Cesaro is not being punished for those comments. In fact, the claim is that Cesaro didn’t get any heat for making those remarks and the feeling backstage in WWE is that the comments were taken out of context.

When asked a few months ago on social media how I would feel about another run as a WWE General Manager, I said. “I don’t think I will be asked, and would turn down the offer if I was.”
Well, after my appearance on WWE Monday Night Raw a few weeks ago, I’ve kind of changed my tune. That appearance energized me, and made me feel like I just might have something to offer #WWE on a more regular basis.
I think there is a chance I’ll be asked about becoming GM within the next year – and if asked… I think I’d do it.

The Wednesday, November 12th edition of TNA Impact Wrestling on Spike TV scored a final cable rating of 0.84, according to Nielsen Media Research.
The 0.84 final draw marks a healthy increase compared to the 0.75 rating that the show drew last week.
Wednesday’s Impact Wrestling averaged 970,000 viewers, which was also up from the average of 930,000 viewers who tuned in the previous week.

Impact Wrestling announced Thursday that the Super X-Cup tournament will return at their January 9th Genesis show on Impact Plus with participants and details to be revealed later.
This will be the fourth Super X-Cup in company history, a eight-man tournament featuring X Division wrestlers that dates back to 2003. In the past, they have featured international talent from around the world.
Chris Sabin won the inaugural tournament in 2003 during the TNA era, defeating Juventud Guerrera in the finals. They brought it back in 2005 with Samoa Joe defeating AJ Styles in the finals. It then took a 12 year absence before returning in 2017 as Dezmond Xavier defeated Taiji Ishimori in the finals in an era when Impact and Global Force Wrestling were doing co-promotion.
Impact announced last week that Genesis would return for the first time since 2018. As of now, the only other announced match is Moose vs. Willie Mack in an I Quit match.
Bad News Barrett is said to be about four-to-six weeks away from making his return to WWE. He started lifting weights recently, but is said to still not have his normal size back. Barrett is hoping to get cleared by doctors in the next three weeks, where he is planning on heading to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida to work off any ring rust.
Barrett was originally hoping to be put into a program with Dolph Ziggler for the WWE Intercontinental Championship upon his WWE return, as he feels it is a natural storyline since he had the title when he went down with an injury. Now that Ziggler is no longer the I-C champion, there’s no word yet as to whether or not Barrett will still be put back into that picture when he does eventually return to the company.

3 REASONS WHY I SHOULD NOT BE THE NEW WWE GM
With the huge win by Team Cena over the #Authority at last night’s #SurvivorSeries, we can certainly expect a seismic shift in the balance of power in #WWE – perhaps as early as tonight’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw. But while my appearance on Raw a few weeks ago emboldened me, and made me think there might be something I could contribute with a more regular on-air role, I believe WWE has some very good reasons to go with a different candidate.
Here are three perfectly acceptable reasons to look elsewhere when searching for a new GM.
1) Head injuries – While I will forever be grateful to WWE for removing me from an environment where I am likely to suffer from further concussions, my short-term memory is still a problem. A GM has to have a grasp on not only what they need to say – but on what everyone else in the segment might be saying too. Although things are going better for me, I’m not sure I’m there yet.
2) Limpin’ aint easy – I have considerable trouble walking…and it’s not always easy to watch. For a show that is supposed to take viewers minds off their own problems, watching me hobble slowly to the ring could be a downer…and a reminder of the price to be paid when doing what we do.
3) A fashion nightmare – Most people reading will probably feel a sense of nostalgia when recalling my struggles with fashion over the years. But for a publicly traded company, having a face of the company who makes good clothes look bad is a legitimate concern. Even while watching Survivor Series 1997 last night on #WWENetwork, my children marveled at just how bad I looked – even while wrestling in a tuxedo! My commissioner days of 2000, where I could wear anything I wanted are long over. I’m down almost 25 pounds since my back injury – due to a combination of #DDPYoga and wiser eating. Believe it or not, I’m actually 20 pounds lighter than I was during my time as WWE Commissioner in 2000. But I’m a long way from looking ready to assume any type of larger role with WWE.
No, I don’t think I will be the new man in charge. But I wish whoever does end up in charge the very best of luck. Besides, I really liked how it felt to come back as a surprise and make an impact…and look forward to doing it again!

Kevin Nash will not be appearing at tonight’s Maryland Championship Wrestling show from Joppa, MD, despite a message on the company website stating that he will in fact be there “contrary to Internet rumors.”
WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley will be taking his place. Former WWE talents Matt Sydal and Melina will also be in attendance.
Nash will be appearing for MCW some time in 2015.
