Reason WWE Isn't Using Mark Henry, Update On His Retirement

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Mark Henry is still under contract to WWE and is not yet retired.

Meltzer noted that the belief is that Henry is not currently being used on WWE television because the company is reportedly in the midst of a “rebuilding phase.”

Apparently WWE is more focused on building and establishing new talent and stars right now, so there hasn’t been much for Henry to do.

As noted, Mark Henry has made it clear that he fully intends to retire in the near future.
