WWE star Nikki Bella recently spoke with Page Six and below are some interview highlights.
On people who assert her break up with John Cena was for “Total Bellas” TV ratings:
“People said it was fake for ratings, [but]don’t you think a wedding would be best for ratings? I would never fake a break-up,” Nikki explained. “And when people keep questioning it, it actually makes your heart ache even more.”
On her change of tune when it comes to being a mom:
“She has been the best form of birth control for me,” Nikki said of her year-old niece, Birdie, who is Brie’s daughter. “Here I was dying to be a mom. Now I want to push it back. Can my clock tick until my 40s?”

“One person had to sacrifice their career [for us to be together], but I’m not willing to do that,” said Nikki, who is instead pouring herself into work while Cena, 41, films a movie in China until October.
“I’m just not the girl who hangs out on set. I have my own career,” she added. “I want to be one of Forbes’ top entrepreneurs.”
On advice she once received from John Cena:
“John to me is the best who ever walked through that curtain. The best advice he ever gave me is you can always ask forgiveness later.”
The article also contained quotes from Brie Bella, who had the following to say on Ronda Rousey in WWE:
“Ronda is amazing for the division. She’s the sweetest. You’re almost like, ‘How are you so tough in the octagon and so sweet in person?’ ” said Brie.
