WWE Hall Of Famer, Trish Stratus spoke with Inside The Ropes to promote WWE Evolution and discussed possible future feuds for herself and more.
On the difference between women’s wrestling now and during her era:
“I would say there is a different level of athleticism, I think maybe because they have been training at the Performance Center ready for the big leagues, we didn’t know if we were going to wrestle, of course, we do our regular training but the girls have more regular matches that we did and their training is a little different. I think the Performance Center is what changed it, they debuted a lot more polished whereas we learned as we went.”
On possibly having another major singles feud:
“It certainly has crossed my mind once I had the Alexa match, her and I running a program, the most exciting thing is who’s next and testing your limits with someone else, a new move set, it’s always intriguing. When I see these characters that are so distinct, it’s amazing. The thought of having an intense singles feud is definitely intriguing to me.”
Who she would like to face next:
“Charlotte Flair has tied my record, right? We can’t look past that, I pinned that to the board and I am watching that closely. To me a moment that surprised me was when I was in the ring with Sasha Banks, I thought she did some great stuff but when me and her got in the ring we had great chemistry and the fans were feeling it, so I think that’s interesting to me.”
