Orton gets WWE title shot at SummerSlam

Kofi Kingston’s WWE title will be on the line at SummerSlam as his opponent, Randy Orton, was announced on Smackdown.
Orton was called out by Kofi during the show with Kofi blaming Orton for keeping him back from moving to main event status in 2009. Orton told him that he did him a favor because he wasn’t ready back then…and still isn’t ready now. Orton also noted that he didn’t have to shake his ass, throw pancakes, or use a fake Jamaican accent to be over. Ouch.
Randy Orton is a former 9-time WWE champion and a former 4-time World Heavyweight champion and he last held the WWE title in 2017.
Meanwhile, another match for SummerSlam was announced between Kevin Owens and Shane McMahon. The stipulation is that if Kevin Owens loses his match, he would quit the WWE.Click Here: football tracksuits

Jimmy Hart On Discovering AJ Styles

Jimmy Hart was recently a guest on the “Wrestling With History” podcast. During the appearance, he discussed discovering A.J. Styles and whether he thinks that AEW can be true competition for the WWE. Here are the highlights:
On If He Thinks AEW Can Compete With WWE:
I’m not Kreskin, I can’t predict anything… Everything is about production. Kevin Dunn works magic with the WWE (television product). He can take 10,000 people and make it look like 20,000. A lot of promotions will take 10,000 people and make it look like 100. A lot of people have tried to knock WWE off but they haven’t done it yet. TNA tried but couldn’t do it; WCW did it and then finally had to throw the towel in. There is so much great talent all over the world…one good thing (about AEW) is that it gives everyone a chance to work.
On How He Came Across A.J. Styles:
When WCW broke up, we started a company called the XWF. We shot it out of Universal Studios. Sable was the GM, Roddy Piper was the (commissioner), we had the Road Warriors, the Nasty Boys, Curt Henning, Hulk Hogan…but one of the talents that I found years before that (and wanted to bring in) was a guy named AJ Styles. We had him at 8 of our tapings because I thought this guy was unbelievable. I’m just happy to see him finally get with the WWE so the whole world can see what he can really do.Click Here:

Heyman puts a stop to the no wrestling during commercials rule

Click:comparer taille
There were no 2/3 falls matches, elimination matches or run-ins forcing matches to be restarted, which were tricks WWE had been using to explain why the match was stopped during commercials.
According to Dave Meltzer, the decision to drop this rule was said to be a Paul Heyman decision, as he was able to get Vince McMahon to agree to allow wrestling during commercial breaks and stop the tricks WWE had been using to prevent that. While Vince did make some “minor tweaks” to the program, it was said to be “largely a Heyman shoClick Here:

Chris Jericho Says AEW Will Build A Bigger Star in Hangman Page At All Out Than WWE Has In 6 Months
