Ever since the rape complaint filed by a nun from the Missionaries of Jesus congregation against the then Bishop of Jalandhar Franco Mulakkal surfaced, there have been allegations from the complaint and those supporting her that the accused and church are using their influence and money to intimidate and silence them and witnesses.
Now, adding a fresh twist to the already murky case, a close aide of Mulakkal has been arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) with unaccounted money.
