As noted, Tegan Nox suffered a badly broken leg after landing awkwardly during a dive spot in her match with Rhea Ripley as part of the WWE Mae Young Classic 2018 tournament at the tapings at Full Sail University on Thursday evening.
WWE issued the following statement regarding Tegan Nox’s injury following the conclusion of last night’s tapings:
Competitor injured during Thursday night’s Mae Young Classic tapings (CAUTION: SPOILERS)
Tegan Nox suffered an injury to her left leg during Thursday’s Mae Young Classic tapings. The injury occurred during a dive to the outside of the ring. She was transported to a local medical facility for further examination.
The extent of Nox’s injury is not known at this time. Stay with WWE.com for more information as it becomes available.
In addition to the WWE statement, the following photo from the tapings has surfaced on social media, showing Knox screaming in pain while being attended to by ringside medics.
