It looks like Becky Lynch is going to WrestleMania…
The Man came around on the final stop along the Road to WrestleMania this Sunday night at WWE Fastlane, live from the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, OH, where she collided with long-time rival Charlotte Flair in a match where her place in the RAW Women’s Championship match at this year’s April Classic hung in the balance.
The stipulation going into the bout stated that if Lynch was able to win the match, she would be added to the main event at WrestleMania, which prior to this evening only featured “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey and Flair. However, Rousey made an appearance during the match and “attacked” the Irish Lasskicker — with as little effort as humanly possible, might we add — effectively earning her the victory by disqualification.
The DQ finish means that TECHNICALLY Becky Lynch “won” the match, and has been officially added to the RAW Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania, making the bout a triple threat match. That being said, this story has seen more twist than a Zack Sabre Jr. performance, so we’ll see how long that ruling actually stands when WWE rolls into Pittsburgh for Monday Night RAW.
