Enzo Booking Changes Again?

There is a new report out now that there have been more changes to the booking of Enzo Amore and the Cruiserweight title.
A recent report states that Enzo wasn’t going to be without the belt for very long after losing it to Kalisto a few weeks ago. The report states that the plan was to have Enzo drop the belt so that they could eliminate the “No contact” clause that Enzo supposedly had with Kurt Angle, saying if any of the cruiserweights touched him, they’d not get a shot at the belt. After losing, the plan was to give Enzo a bodyguard to keep the other cruiserweights away from him. Names bantered around in the report are former TNA wrestler Gunner, who recently signed with the company, or NXT prospect Babatunde Aiyegbushi. The report says that Enzo would soon get the belt back, possibly with the help of his new man.
This is all speculation, of course, and even if the reports are true, having them reported doesn’t necessarily kill the idea either. It has been already commented, however, that if they were going to pair up Enzo with another big guy, then why to split him from Big Cass in the first place? Having a smaller guy with a bodyguard is not a new storyline for the WWE, With Shawn Michaels and Deisel being the shining example, but it hasn’t always worked out as when the WWE trying to give Tyson Kidd a bodyguard only for him to disappear within weeks.

All this comes on the heels of the change that was made to have the title change hands at all. Originally the match was going to be Enzo defending the belt against Neville a few weeks ago, but that Neville never even arrived at the building with speculation that he has walked out of the WWE. The match was then changed with Kalisto winning the belt to honor Eddie Guerrero’s birthday.
