One of the features that has made WWE’s Finn Balor stand out from everybody else during his time in the company has been when he unleashes his “Demon” persona. Balor applies body paint and puts on an incredible entrance that he usually saves for his biggest matches. Finn Balor last used the persona at SummerSlam in 2016, but he was injured during that match. Balor has not brought back the “Demon” ever since, and this has led to some fans questioning if the character would ever be coming back. Fortunately, we do have some news regarding the future of “The Demon” in the company and when it will be coming back.
Luckily for Balor fans, the character is not dead and it is expected to be coming back soon. The Dirty Sheets podcast claims that Balor will be portraying the character at this year’s SummerSlam show. The company has apparently always planned for Balor to use the persona at the show since it was where he last used it. Finn Balor has recently entered a feud with fellow Raw wrestler Bray Wyatt, and it is believed that the two of them will be having a match at the upcoming pay-per-view. Seeing “The Eater of Worlds” taking on “The Demon” will definitely make for an interesting visual at this year’s show. Expect to see “The Demon” return to SummerSlam in Brooklyn this year.
Speaking of SummerSlam, Balor isn’t the only one set to receive an incredible entrance this year. WWE recently posted a video on Instagram which features the members of CFO$, as well as Lee England Jr., and a message which states: “Looks like @cfos_official and @leeenglandjr are up to something in NYC” as you can see below.” WWE has used England Jr. a few different times to perform the entrance theme of Shinsuke Nakamura. Nakamura is going to be wrestling Jinder Mahal for the WWE Championship at SummerSlam this year, and it appears as though WWE is going to have Shinsuke arrive to the ring in spectacular fashion.
