Fulham vs Arsenal: TV channel, live stream, squad news & preview

The Gunners could clinch their ninth victory in all competitions when they travel to Craven Cottage in the Premier League on Sunday

Arsenal could claim their ninth successive win in a row in all competitions should they register victory against Fulham in the Premier League on Sunday.

It will be a tough test for the Gunners who had just completed a 5,000-mile round-trip from facing Qarabag in Azerbaijan in the Europa League on Thursday, with Unai Emery’s nine changes to the team paying off as they completed a 3-0 win.

Emery was able to rest several crucial players for the clash at Craven Cottage, with the likes of Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang set to return to the squad.

Arsenal are favourites as they head into Craven Cottage with eight wins on the bounce, while Fulham have registered just one win in the Premier League in seven matches and losing four.

The Gunners lie in fifth place in the Premier League table though remain level on points with Tottenham  – their North London rivals ahead on goal difference – and, should results go their way this weekend, could leapfrog their way to third place.

It was a tough start of the season for Emery’s side when they were made to face Chelsea and Manchester City in their two opening fixtures, but the Spaniard seems to have steadied the ship following a rocky beginning.

The North London side benefitted from fielding a less experienced team in their run-out in Azerbaijan and Emery will hope that the fresh and rested likes of Mkhitaryan and Aubameyang be geared up to face the Cottagers.

Fulham will be keen for star striker Aleksander Mitrovic to get off the mark against the Gunners – already having scored five goals this season – as Fulham sit just one point above the relegation zone heading into the weekend.
