Ingraham said Sunday she has spoken with the president-elect.

“It’s an intriguing idea,” she said on “Fox News Sunday.”

A report surfaced earlier this month that the radio host was under serious consideration to serve as Trump’s White House press secretary.

The president-elect said he appreciated Ingraham’s loyalty throughout the campaign.

Ingraham helped Trump during his campaign with debate preparation, campaigned on his behalf and offered occasional strategic advice.

She was one of a few media figures who did a great deal to promote Trump’s candidacy, using her outlet to advocate on his behalf.
