Speaking in an interview with L’Équipe 21, Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko spoke about his current situation on Tyneside.

“I am happy to be at this club. Even if the results are not great at the moment, it is a club where I can flourish and where I have a lot of playing time. I am lucky to play in England. It is there where I have always wanted to play because it is in this league where I can flourish the most with my abilities.”
“My aim is to become a professional footballer. I got the chance to sign my professional contract and play very earlier. I have always had my family close to me. I try to enjoy that fully… My family is very proud to see me at this level. I came from a difficult place, so I hope and aspire to go further and higher.”
