The main event for NWA’s next pay-per-view is now official as World Champion Nick Aldis will defned against Trevor Murdoch at When Our Shadows Fall
Murdoch, Chris Adonis and Thom Latimer were the final three men in the ring in a battle royale held on tonight’s NWA Power to determine the next challenger for the title. Adonis and Latimer attempted to team up to take out Murdoch, but their plan failed as both were dumped to the floor, giving Murdoch the win.
The NWA later confirmed on social media that his title match would take place at the Sunday, June 6th PPV on FITE.tv.
After the battle royal, Aldis went to attack Murdoch, but that also failed as the former NWA National Champion laid him out with a top rope bulldog. He closed out the show cutting a promo at the podium. In tears, he described what an honor it was to challenge for the title, citing Harley Race and how he missed him and that he wants to hold the championship that Race once held.
