Zaksa Kedzierzyn-Kozle with Swiderski is one of the favorites when we talk about winning Polish championships. Sebastian Swiderski speaks a little more carefully. “Of course we are fighting for a medal, but we don’t promise it will be gold for sure. We will do our best to repeat the succes from the last year at least“. The new capitain of Zaksa speaks also about his new colleagues – Guillaume Samica and Antonin Rouzier, because they are expected to make the team much more stronger. “They are most welcome in our group. Samica speaks Polish pretty good and he helps us to comunicate with Antonin. I can say their potential is huge.”
Stephane Antiga used to play in Belchatow for a few years, but now he is supporting Delecta Bydgoszcz. “The first match was important, because we could see our form, good and poor sides. We are doing pretty well, but our regularity has to be proved.” He also mentioned some reasons which made him stay in Poland. Halls full of fans, the popularity of volleyball, league progress and professionalism – it all helped Antiga to make his decision.
Also Lukas Tichacek, the new setter of Asseco Resovia Rzeszow speak about great first impression. “Our game is not perfect yet, but we are working on it. In Rzeszow I have friends from VfB Friedrichshafen – Georg Grozer and Adrian Gontariu, but it is only the matter of time when I get closer with the rest of the team. Now we are playing with Olsztyn and we just must win this match.“
