Premier League strugglers Southampton are engaged in discussions to sign Rennes striker Timothé Nkada when his contract expires in June, according to Foot Mercato.
After seeing his friend Yan Valery flourish with the Saints, Nkada is certainly interested and in good form too, having scored 11 goals in 16 matches for the Brittany side’s reserve set-up so far this season.
Nkada is a French U19 international and the 19-year-old is waiting to see if the Saints make a concrete offer for his services.
