The final SmackDown before WrestleMania 37 will be a “Special WrestleMania Edition” of the show.
It was announced today that SmackDown’s WrestleMania 37 go-home show on Friday, April 9 is being branded as the Special WrestleMania Edition of SmackDown. It will feature Universal Champion Roman Reigns, Edge, and Daniel Bryan addressing the audience ahead of their triple threat title match at WrestleMania. Plus, a SmackDown Tag Team title match and this year’s Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal will take place on the episode.
The SmackDown Tag Team title match on the Special WrestleMania Edition of SmackDown will be a fatal four-way with Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode defending against The Street Profits, Rey & Dominik Mysterio, and Chad Gable & Otis.
With the exception of last year, the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal has taken place annually since it was introduced at WrestleMania 30 in 2014. This will be the first time the battle royal has happened at a show other than WrestleMania. This year’s participants are:

The Special WrestleMania Edition of SmackDown is being taped at the WWE ThunderDome this week and will air in SmackDown’s normal 8-10 p.m. Eastern time slot on Fox on April 9.
WrestleMania 37 is taking place on Saturday, April 10 and Sunday, April 11. Reigns vs. Edge vs. Bryan for the Universal Championship will headline night two’s card.
