India might have electrified all its villages but it is still dark in many corners of the country. Senior secondary students decided to find a solution to absence of streetlights by developing slippers that come with lights.
Times of India reported that at the South Indian States Science Fair 2019, class IX students exhibited ‘E-slippers’ that come with lights and can be used for charging mobile phones also. The boys told the publication that in India since there are no streetlights therefore, they decided to come up with a solution that can prevent road accidents.
