As noted, Samoa Joe vs Roman Reigns will be taking place at WWE Backlash, and the singles match is also expected to take place during the WWE UK tour kicking off in May. According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE will be honoring the new brand split rosters during the UK tour, but since Reigns has no other opponent at this time for the tour, Joe will be working the Raw brand while overseas.

As noted, an incident occurred at WrestleCon over WrestleMania weekend during which Harry Smith, aka Davey Boy Smith, Jr allegedly threw hot coffee in the face of WWE Hall of Famer Jake Roberts. Roberts has since pressed charges of simply battery against Smith and there is a warrant out for his arrest in New Orleans.
According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, after the incident took place, Roberts’ daughter wanted to fight Smith, however the police were called instead, and Smith ended up leaving the scene.
Authorities then questioned Tommy Dreamer about the incident, and Dreamer told them Smith would be at his show later that night in NOLA. The police did not show up to apprehend Smith at Dreamer’s show, and Smith ended up leaving NOLA that night to head to Japan for a tour.
