In recent weeks, WWE has been stacking the deck fully against the current WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar, with the company going “all in” on creating the feeling that Lesnar truly does not care about WWE, the fans, or anyone else for that matter.
Some people have speculated the reason why WWE is putting so much heat on Lesnar is to ward off the chorus of boos that Roman Reigns is usually greeted with, and with SummerSlam taking place in New York City this year, the Brooklyn crowd could be as hostile as any other. Others feel WWE’s current booking of Lesnar is due to The Beast likely leaving the company after SummerSlam, with his return to UFC confirmed for next year, in a highly anticipated fight against Daniel Cormier.
Despite the above, the idea of the WWE fans in Brooklyn booing Roman Reigns, or the entire match between Reigns and The Beast at SummerSlam, is not something The Big Dog seems too concerned with, as he Tweeted the following:

Whenever I’m in the ring, I hear the noise.
It doesn’t shake me.
It doesn’t anger me.
I don’t run from the noise. I thrive in it. I hope Brooklyn’s ready to get loud because I’m ready to give them a show.
And take the #UniversalTitle. #SummerSlam
