As we reported late this past weekend, WWE Superstar Rusev proposed to his longtime girlfriend Lana, as the two are now officially engaged. Rusev popped the question at the couples’ house in Nashville, Tennessee recently.
Originally, it was unclear if the story was just an unconfirmed rumor or the real deal, however on Monday, WWE went public on their official website with the following statement.
As first reported by TMZ, former U.S. Champion Rusev and Lana are reportedly engaged. The Ravishing Russian had been romantically linked to Dolph Ziggler in recent months and Rusev fielded a proposal from Summer Rae just last week, but it would appear that any lingering problems between the power couple have been resolved. For what it’s worth, there has been rumors going around that claim WWE is planning on putting Lana together back with Rusev when she returns to television from injury.
