With the 2019 Destruction tour now in the books, New Japan Pro-Wrestling turns its focus to their annual King of Pro-Wrestling event, emanating live from the world famous Ryogoku Sumo Hall on Monday, October 14.
The show will be headlined by the “Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada in his fourth defense of the IWGP Heavyweight Championship, as he defends the most coveted belt in pro wrestling against SANADA, who finally scored a victory over the champion during this year’s G1 Climax tournament.
New Japan has also confirmed that the long-awaited grudge match between the legends Jushin Thunder Liger and Minoru Suzuki will take place after months of violence between the two.
We’ll also see Kota Ibushi defend his G1 contract, the No Disqualification rematch between Jon Moxley and Juice Robinson, as well as the return of El Desperado, the 20th Anniversary celebration of Hiroshi Tanahashi, and more!
