After more than five months away, Lio Rush made a surprise return to the WWE NXT brand this Wednesday night during the second half of the live two-hour broadcast.

Rush hasn’t been seen since April, after accompanying Bobby Lashley to the ring at WrestleMania, but is apparently back as an in-ring wrestler instead of a manager this time around.
The high-flying sensation faced off against Oney Lorcan – and he actually picked up the victory in front of the red hot NXT faithful fanbase at Full Sail University. More importantly, in doing so Rush earned himself an opportunity to challenge Drew Gulak for the Cruiserweight Championship!
Welcome back, Lio!
