WWE has confirmed that both Chris Jericho and Eric Bischoff will be in attendance for next week’s historic Raw 25th Anniversary special.
This may come as a surprise to some, as Jericho recently competed in the semi-main event of Wrestle Kingdom 12, working a critically praised no disqualification match against Kenny Omega. The self-proclaimed “Alpha” is scheduled to return to NJPW at some point to continue a feud with Tetsuya Naito, and there have also been rumors about a future match with IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada.
As for Bischoff, the former President of WCW hasn’t been seen on WWE television in a decade. In fact, other than inducting Diamond Dallas Page into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2017, the last time he was on Monday Night Raw was the 15th Anniversary special in 2007.
